Coke!

Got a message last night that my early online meeting was cancelled so that meant i need not wake up early at all.
So my son and i ordered food online for our midnight snack and that included a coke for me. Must be the coke or the thought of no work in the morning made me stay up late. I slept past midnight which is really late for me.
The best part of my evening was my son coming into the room again to give me a tight hug and said he missed Danie and Yuki! 
It was simply hard for him to admit he miss hugging me and not our fur babies. Of course the four of us had a warm cuddle in bed.
I tried hard to wake up late this morning but body clock woke me up at 6, like always.

@rakski right. When my son turned 13, he enjoyed his time alone in his room. He hardly wanted to be with us. I’ve been told by someone here in mylot it’ll change as they get older and she was right.

I would be excited too. A coke is a good thing to have. It is hard to wake up late when you are so used to waking up earlier. I am sorry you could not sleep longer.

Every single day I enjoy his company. We converse during our meal time. I love that he shares his interests to me. We truly have a good relationship and I hope that won't change ever.

Here I am unable to order midnight snack as we've restrictions for online food delivery services due to pandemic. They can do services till 10 pm and shops should close after 10 pm. I am eagerly waiting for the normal life to come.

It was very short but it’s better than nothing. He stayed less than 5 minutes. Only to say goodnight.
