I just found out that for the past four months I could have gotten my Internet paid for by the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. A program the government is offering.
It would have been nice to know this, since I paid for two months for not using it while I was away for the renovations.
They will pay up to $50 a month towards my bill. Since my bill is less than that, I am going to get free Internet until further notice, starting this month.
Wow! I sure wish I knew about this four months ago. I could have save some extra money.

Lucky! I signed up for that, and I still have to pay 15/month, when my bill was 43/month. I'll take what discounts I can even if I feel I don't need them.

That sucks. I am happy that our government allows us to have the same Internet that we pay for, and does not restrict it.
