The whole place is filled with bad news

Good evening,
Hope you all are doing well.
I was just reading though some news and wow. I just can’t believe all the craziness going on in the world right now.
On minute I read about the vaccines that I still do not trust, I read about the Jan 6 Capital crap and all the trials that they can’t get too. I read about the government shut down that might be happening.
I wonder why all this money is being spent on trying to get these people for the Jan 6 “riots”, yet when all those riots were happening across the country, we didn’t bother trying to get all these people who were killing, burning and looting our cities. It wouldn’t be a political thing, would it?
The government shut down because we are going over our debt limit. How about we seriously try to find ways to not spend as much? I mean I only can go so far into debt and then that is it there is no extending that limit. I find ways to spend less or make more. I guess that is why everything is going up in cost. Isn’t there ways to cut back spending?
The whole world is going to Hell in a hand basket.

That's the problem with the two parties. They don't agree on how to do things. They fight like children about how the country should be run... and then... It's just not news anymore. It's just... sad.

@Bensen32 That's why I've stopped. I'll listen for the latest hurricane or something, but unless it's playing at a doctor's office.... I don't listen anymore.
