Head Start on Packing

Today was our last day here at Ormond Beach, FL. I was really getting used to hearing the waves breaking, our pleasant view of the ocean, watching kids on the beach from the balcony, enjoying the cool breeze, etc. But the week is coming to an end and we must head home tomorrow. I decided to make Saturday morning a bit easier on us and packed up almost half of the things we brought down. I;ll just have to throw in the last minute things in the morning, load the dishwasher and empty the refrigerator. Other that that, we are ready to roll. I dread the ride home. It is going to be at least a 12 hour drive. That being said, I'll see you all sometimes on Sunday after I get a bit of sleep in!

we wandered Europe 4 years ago, we literally flew from city to city. Packing and unpacking was done about every third day. it drove my wife nuts. Me, I left everything in the suitcase!

I usually unpack but this time I did not. I still had outfits in my suitcase from our last trip (Biloxi)!! Next trip will be TN in November and it will be cooler so I will have to repack the bag!

@kareng when I was traveling internationally, i always had my bad permanently packed. The only thing I took out was clothes!

It wasn't that bad. I think next year we may have to break that drive into 2 days or go to a closer destination.
