Is it important to get latest TECHNOLOGY to be on top ?

This discussion is for technology matter which is growing like a flash light day by day, so if we purchase any latest technology the day after a day same thing getting old... What do you think about this issue......

Every technology one day will get truncated and isolated
because new and new tcchnologies coming daily as science is improving and people making use of their knowledge and creative ideas
