. Break-up in a relationship is a serious thing for any individual. Yes, the person might experience the signs of depression, but not necessarily. However, the person seems sad after a breakup. The individual feels lonely, and hence the situation seems overwhelming. He may need a long time to settle down without any confusion and worries. Break up makes you feel weak, and so you may not be in a position to mingle with others like before.

Rightly said. It happens in initial days. As time passes, we heal.

When you want to get over someone, be with your loved circle always. Yes, they may be your friends or relatives. Do not feel lonely and instead get sensational support from others who want you to remain happy forever. They will support you and guide you through the rough phase you are facing.

It is normal to be devastated after the breakup. If it is more than 3 months whining about it, then he or she needs to consult a specialist about it.

It is always good and important to accept the reality of the situation, whatever it is. Be prepared to face the reality of life. For example, you may love someone deeply and will expect the same from them also. However, the opposite person may or may not love you in return. In case if he or she does not love you back, do not feel sad or deserted. Instead, accept the situation and move on ahead. Do not expect miracles always in your real life, it may or may not happen.

@Manasha Getting over a break up has its process and it depends on the person because each person has its own way in coping up with hurt and heart breaks. And sometimes there are instances that we thought we have moved on but truth is we only get used to it.

@iKONICNoona et another way to get over someone is to love yourself deeply. Yes, taking care of yourself is an important task during this rough phase. Do not feel sad and bad about yourself at this crucial time. The major enemy for your happiness is remembering the old memories. Forget the past incidents, conversations, and cheerful moments between you and the other person you loved most. Put aside those memories and march towards the future.
