Decisions, decisions

Do you ever have a hard time deciding between what you need to do and what you want to do? Like right now, I need to walk to the barn and back several times. It's beautiful outside, not hot or cold, no real reason that I shouldn't get outside and walk. No excuse. But what I want to do is sit here and interact on myLot. And eat banana popscicles. I need to clean bathrooms. But I want to read a book. I need to balance my checkbook (good luck there!), but I really want to eat some of those sugar/white chocolate chip GF cookies I made earlier. I did cook dinner, unload and load/start the dishwasher. I have load of laundry in the washer and I've dried and put away another load. Made beds, breakfast, and cookies. So I haven't been totally unproductive. But I do seem to have more things I need to do and even more that I want. Do you have trouble with these kinds of decisions?

Unfortunately I can't do any of those things anymore; so the decision is easy. I'll sit and watch TV or go through medical receipts or shred documents or something else I can do sitting down.

When I feel like that I try to steer clear of the computer, or else it just sucks me in and my day is not what I wanted it to be. I hope that you got some things done. That's a cute picture of the kitty on the fire pit wood. What do you use for the base of your firepit, is that a tire rim?

@1creekgirl We had a rim from a transport I believe. It was big and it stood the test of time also. At 1 point we had the drum from a washing machine, the holes in the side made it perfect for a fire pit.

Yes, it's a huge tire rim, it's from a tractor, I think. My husband got tired of buying a new fire pit every year, so he made that one and that was several years ago.

I have an unfinished cheesecake waiting for me. I know that I have to go downstairs in the kitchen, prepare the orange topping and finish it, but I am so much enjoying sitting here and myLotting.

@1creekgirl I went down, I completed the cheesecake and baked a banana bread. Now I rest.

Not really. Once I get habits going for a healthy work-life balance, I'm fine. I think I'll be even more productive once I get my office set up to work productivly again. My desk has been a dumping ground for things I've yet to go through, and the couch the new office. While it's more comfortable to work on the couch, it also makes me want to be lazy.

@1creekgirl No. if the choice is between cleaning bathrooms (or which we have 5) and eating, drinking or reading then the bathrooms can wait. There’s sure to be at least one of them clean enough to use if the Queen calls.

Yeah yesterday I didn't know what I wanted to do either. I had promised my mother I would clean my curio cabinet, but I didn't. I wanted to listen to a podcast, but I ended up listen to two church services. And I'm still trying to decide if I should wait on some swagbucks points or go ahead and get some stuff on Amazon.
