Bird Feeders In Your Yard??

It's about that time, that we take stock of the number of bird feeders we are going to need... It's getting cold out there and the poor little birds will soon be relying on us to get them through the winter. Of everything that you put out... what do they seem to like the most? In our yard, they like peanut butter. Dad used to collect pine cones, spread peanut butter and then roll in bird seed. He would lay them all on a feeders that he had made during the summer and then sit by the window with his cup of coffee and watch how long it took them to visit each day. Wasn't long lol Sadly, peanut butter is lot more expensive than it was when I was growing up lol.

I feed the winter birds peanuts here. And sunflower seeds.

Think that I need a trip to pick up some more. At last glance, we were getting low in seeds!

I was thinking about putting some bird feeders out for the birds, but never got around to it. I would also like to get some humming bird feeders for next summer.

We are at the age when it's very difficult to go out in the yard and man the feeders; so we haven't fed the birds in several years.

I always have a bird feeder out. Keep it topped up regularly and put extra things out when the weather gets colder

I think my mom used to do that, if we just didn't put bird seed in our feeder.

That's really nice that you have those. We don't have bed feeders and I don't see anybody in my neighborhood who has it.
