Got to be with my mom on her Birthday

So I got to be with my mom on her Birthday yesterday .she's 73 and lives an hour and a half away in an assisted living facility .. I don't get to see her often so this was a big deal for me ..I got to meet her friends there and then we went shopping and out to eat ..we went to renos but it wasn't that great first time we had ever been and I probably won't go back they gave us rolls dripping with honey , which were ok I'd rather not had the honey on them ..they had really good chips and salsa and cheese dip but The fish we ordered was terrible mom didn't like hers either and the blooming onion was Fried to hard .. but we had a good time anyhow . It was just me and her My daughter and her boyfriend and my grandson was supposed to meet us but something happened and they couldn't make it.. so we made the best out of it and I was really happy to see her and get to spend the evening with her .. a Good night I will remember .

Thank you so much It meant the world to me . We never know how many more birthdays weregonna have or get to spend together..so better do as many as we can . Enjoy it while we can

Yes it is very important and I'm glad I got to do . My sister lives In another state so she couldn't come she sent flowers and so did my brother he usually takes her out but it was my time this year he lives close and gets to take her out to eat often ..so this was our time and very nice

Yeah it meant alot to both of us I don't have a car so I don't get to go see her very often have to rent a car and go if I can't get someone to.take me so this was alot of fun and meant alot to both of us ..

Yeah my daughter Is gonna plan another trip who.knows I may get to see her again that would be very nice she's gonna send her gift in the mail she made her a jewelry box painted it and a necklace so she will like that

Thank you very much , we had a wonderful time and I hope to get to be with her on her birthday again next year ..this was a much needed trip as I had never Been to her assisted living facility I got to see her room and meet the people she talks to me about put a name to a face lol thanks
