The models in the fashion shows always look ANGRY!

So I have this app on my TV where I can earn money for watching videos. Actually I earn for watching ads. Every 3 ads in between the videos earns me points which I redeem for cash or crypto. I have no control over the videos. I usually sign in to watch the latest videos, let the app run on my TV while I work on my laptop. For the past couple of weeks they have been showing videos of fashion shows. Honestly! These women look like they are knocking on death's door. They look emaciated. I can see their skeletal bones, They also look very ANGRY when they walk the catwalk. I thought they were protesting about this and they were going to do something to stop these models from looking like how people look when there's a famine! Not to mention ... some of the "designer clothes" they wear are really ugly! Or rather I should ... not my style. I'm old enough to remember Twiggy. She was skinny but she didn't look that bad.

Thank you so much for saying this Moneyspinner!! I was thinking exactly the same lately about these 'new' models. Always a rotten scowl on their face. I do not see what is right about looking like that. It seems to be the way now and I do not appreciate it. I keep up with fashion as much as I can, even though I no longer am a fashionista, I still open the pages of Vogue and every model in there is a grumpy old sod. Such nonsense. And Victoria Beckham makes clothes for toothpicks and thats it and hires the most grumpy looking wenches. And yes I too remember Twiggy.

You are so right, we often discuss this with my husband. Those girls all look anorectic, they look as people in the concentration camps during WWII. It's not surprising that they look sad and angry. I also remember Twiggy she was not that bad.

@marlina My husband cannot stand them. Those skinny legs that are opened in the center because there are only bones. They should do something to stop this.

Models are always so serious. Not sure I've seen them with an angry expression though.

I remember Twiggy too. Even though there are now plus-size models, the norm is still stick-thin, angry-looking models.

Yes, it's a pity that these models are starving. It's just the cruel nature of modeling; the more skinnier, the more modeling assignments they may get. Maybe most Fashion Directors wanted that scowl look. Surprisingly, the clothes they model for or accessories go boom in the market.

i suspect that is a very hard industry. those at the top make a lot of money. those, in the low end, don't/

I have to totally agree with you on this one. Too skinny, ugly clothes and too angry looking for sure. And the stupid way they walk.

If I had to starve myself and wear those hideous clothes, I'd look angry, too!

Even with the computer on, having fashion shows on in the background would drive me mad!
