Funny Bone

So i have been curious many times when i bump my elbow and get a tingling sensation. Rather than let out a scream, i begin to laugh while in pain and so decided to look it up. The name "funny bone" comes from the humerus bone, which connects the shoulder to the elbow. However, that's not the source of the tingling sensation you feel when you bump your elbow just right. It's actually the result of the humerus bone coming into contact with the ulnar nerve, which is responsible for telling the brain about feelings in the ring and pinky fingers. Have you known or had such experiences?

I don't want to try it on purpose. Worried about side effects.

Are there other side effects apart from the tingling sensation it gives?
