The Bible has it that a person need not remain in poverty if only he mutters a simple prayer from the heart. History has it that there was a man named Jabez who hailed from a long line of misery. In dire need to get away from poverty, he went out into the fields and prayed a one sentence prayer. And our God granted his prayer. Photograph from a friend.

Yes. We should never lose hope. I analyzed the prayer years ago. It's a simpler version of the 'Lord's Prayer.'
