Under budget

Australia
November 29, 2021 10:52pm CST
Hey all, I worked out a budget in October for November. Guess what? I am $20 under budget in food and drink, $40 under shopping and $50 under groceries. It is probably because Im not going to uni everyday the stress eating and the money spent on stupid things to destress was a lot. I am impressed because I thought I would go over. Of course not going out every weekend and majority of the week in the evening helps too. Not to mention Ive lost some weight my pants now fall down. I should really find my belt.

That is awesome. You can now save a little to buy the things which you have always wanted to get.

Good for you! Do you want to come make a budget for me? I'll pay you to do so. Then you'll have even more money to put towards your December budget! Or, while you're here, we can just go blow it all at Disney! haha

@Fa_Maverick Well, how badly do you want to come visit? The money could be good, if it's within my budget (that you haven't created yet). Okay, if you want to take a stab at creating my monthly budget remotely, here's the details: monthly income: $7000; monthly expenses: $22,000. Do your magic and make it all work out so that I have some spending money left over at the end of the month!

@moffittjc lol true Budget idea: stop existing for a month except to work the perpetual existence should keep you alive without needing to eat.

That was impressive. Looks like you have two achievements this year. So over all you saved $110, which you can direct it into something else. And not to ignore you lost weight as well. What you are planning to do with the Amount you saved in November

I eat a lot when I'm stressed too, I just try to eat as healthy as possible so I have only one thing to regret instead of two. I hope next month works better for you.

I've started eating only when I am hungry which at the moment only occurs once a day so that has really helped cut costs.

That is good news. I think having more cooked meals at home instead of ordering out can save you a lot too.
