Connecting the Dots

It must be because it's the holiday season that joyful childhood memories keep coming back to me. This time the memory is connecting the dots. There were 2 play-alone activities that I enjoyed. One was connecting the dots and the other was coloring. I remember my mom bought me coloring books and the drawings inside were dots, each dot with a number or the alphabet. First I connected the dots and then I could color the picture. I would be connecting and coloring for hours.

There are some very innovative ways to encourage kids with their learning. I liked dot to dot too.

I like doing both of those. I have seen colouring books for grown ups, but I don't think it'll be the same!

you can still do it, you know. They are becoming popular adult activities lately. There are people who make them specifically for adults.

Me too. Also, paper dolls. That was my thing. The joy of getting a new book of paper dolls. and what about those books with dots of water that you just moistened the dots that turned into a picture and you were anxious to see what it would be.
