I also do the same thing. However, I cannot skim that much if the discussions are long. The reason is that I cannot stay longer with them because I am teaching online.

There are... a few... people here I totally ignore.

I'm pretty sure I've never read anything you've posted on myLot.

I usually ignore newbies after greeting them when they first show up until they become somewhat established and seem to be staying for a while. *shrug* I don't see a reason to invest time and interest in someone who might vanish as quickly as they appeared.

@MALUSE A lot of people say they love it here shortly after arriving and then disappear. It's frustrating to start getting to know them only to have them gone not long afterwards.

I remember a young woman who wrote that she had found heaven when she discovered myLot. Obviously, heaven wasn't too appealing because she disappeared after a very short time.
