It will not be warmer tomorrow

It will not be warmer tomorrow and in fact we may have ice, or snow or strong winds. So hubby and I went for a few groceries and things we were out of. Specifically I wanted bread, milk, and a ham to eat and season other meals with. Oh, and ice cream. We got quite a few bananas from the reduced rack. Hubby is on some medications that deplete his potassium. Eating bananas, among other things helps replenish his potassium and cuts down on muscle cramps. If we do not eat the bananas fast enough I will make banana bread. We got home just at dark. Hubby cooked for us while I unloaded and put away the groceries. As far as I know I will not go out anywhere Friday or Saturday. We are expecting wintery weather and I am staying home.

Sure thing, banana will help. We have clear skies today but low temperature at 25°C compared to previous month at 31°C. Stay warm.

They do help. I hope you continue to have decent weather, neither too hot nor cold.

Be safe. We are having a moderate kind of weather, it is neither very cold nor very hot. Sun is out there with a steady wind blowing. Take care.

Hmm... the forecast for us says our low tomorrow will only reach 51F. Did you get that really thick fog this morning? I looked out my front door and couldn't see the street. All I could see of cars driving past was the glow of their headlights. It burned off by 9am. The NOAA site says that will happen again tonight and tomorrow night. I hope you stay safe and warm. Happy New Year!

My days are all running together so I am not sure I got the fog you got. I know two different days last week when I had to drive I did have very dense fog. There are a number of bodies of water around, lakes, rivers, creeks and it gets really foggy if conditions are just right. Happy New Year right back at you.

I saw the path of that storm. It's going south of me through the southern half of Wisconsin. It's good you're all stocked up and don't need to go out for the next couple of days. Bananas are great for potassium and keeping leg cramps away.

He seems to be getting those cramps under control. The worst part of our weather the last two weeks have been when we have had a lot of wind.

@GardenGerty Wind can make the weather bad. We have wind today. I'm glad the cramps are under control.

Lately our temperature has been 70 and rain. I hope the sun comes out tomorrow. The cold sets in next week in the 40 s.

For us right now 40's are comfortable. We are riding a roller coaster of ups and downs.

According to Yahoo weather for my area, it's supposed to get to 8°C/46°F and rain today. It's already 4°C/46°F and high overcast. Tomorrow's high is supposed to be 4°C, so it won't be warmer here tomorrow, too. Will you be staying up to see the new year in? I'm usually still up at midnight most nights, so I guess I'll be up tonight, too. Happy New Year, I hope.

No, I seldom if ever stay up until midnight. Sometimes I wake up or get woken up to see it in, but not this year.

I am glad you got what you needed before the wintry weather settles in for the weekend. I am going to the store tomorrow to get what we need. We are expecting strong thunderstorms over the weekend.

Banana is advised to anyone having potassium deficiency. I love banana bread. I tried making one in a bread maker but it turned out dry. How do you make it moist.

Extra bananas, or extra oil make the banana bread more moist. My recipe calls for three bananas and a half cup of butter.

There used to be a big joke in CT about people running out to get bread and milk before a snowstorm. Why are those the go-to items to pick up? Are people hoping to dip the bread into the milk for a meal if they get snowed in?

It is the standard thing in all the states. I really did happen to be almost out of both, though. I know it sounds kind of trite. Right now trying to put weight on hubby I am making homemade eggnog, which of course requires milk. Before the great covid toilet paper famine it was always bread and milk that people snapped up first, plus bottled water.
