Faulty "skins" (sidewalls) on Beaver Patriot

We own a 2004 Beaver Patriot. About 6 months ago we began seeing small cracks in the sidewall paint. Others have seen it also. We have been told many conflicting things. Some say the faulty skin came from Owens Corning, who fixed some until they filed Chapter 11 and did no more. Monaco stepped up and fixed them then, even those past their warrenty period, but now are refusing to repair the problem. They say it is "cosmetic" in nature, even though faulty material is the root of the problem. We have also been told that this problem is not new with our 2004 Beaver but goes back as far as 1999. Monaco may claim it's cosmetic but it is our coach value that is taking the hit at fault of ours. Anyone out there have any experience with this issue....with ANY MONACO product?
