NJ may not renew mask mandate for schools / myLot

It is set to expire on Monday. I will be furious if it is not extended. COVID cases are exploding all over the place. I have pre-existing conditions that make me high risk. If they are going to force us all to be in school in person then the least they can do is require masks. If they don't then I am going to see about going back to remote teaching. It isn't right to not do everything you can to help prevent the spread of the virus.

The sad thing is, you can only take care of yourself. You can't worry about others. It's getting to a point now, where force is pointless. It's not going to work. People now have options. And, by this point, people will only wear a mask if they want to same goes for vaccinations. The best thing you can do, is look out for yourself.

I am sure it will be extended. If its not, I wouldn't be going anywhere near a class room.

But if you go to school and wear a mask, would someone object? Besides, it should be the authorities who should themselves suggest wearing a mask.

Fortunatly in my country, masks are still mandatory when we go out. But many people don´t know how to wear them or don´t care to use them well. That is as bad as not having it.

They trying hard to get things back to normal. I am not sure you can at this point, but I guess will be up to us to do everything we can. Our leaders to influenced by money and wealthy people telling them what to do in regards to doing the right thing. People say they want to live in the wealthiest country on the earth. No you do not, its sucks, people spoiled, jerks and very rarely do the right thing.

I totally agree with you! If that happens, my son is whipping my grandson out of public school so fast their heads will spin! Double mask yourself. It’s not worth getting sick from covid or those unvaccinated fools.
