Busy bar all week.

New Year saw a fair bit of trade for Madeleine’s beach bar. The temperature was always around 25C in the afternoon and plenty people wanted taken round the coast to Pago beach so my cousins boat was booked solid all week and I was out there a lot organising picnics and so on. The people were mostly Canadians, most from Québec and we laughed at their way of speaking French. Every night Madeleine’s was heaving with people, too many really. Madeleine prefers a smaller crowd of locals, not foreigners who are loud and drunk so easily and complain a lot. She just wants to turn a reasonable profit, not become a millionairess.
