Ellenboro North Carolina resident Danny Sims was overcome with tears of joy when he won the huge prize of $250,000 dollars by playing a $5 dollar scratch off ticket recently. Danny bought the winning lottery ticket at a food mart in Mooresboro. When he scratched off the lottery ticket, he thought won $25 dollars. Upon further views of scratching off his lottery ticket, he found out that he won $250,000 dollars. The funniest part of this story is that Danny admits that he and his relatives like to play practical jokes on each other. When Danny told his relatives that he won the huge lottery prize, his relatives thought that he was playing a joke on them. His relatives found out that Danny was telling the truth after Danny went to the lottery headquarters on Tuesday to collect his check which was paying taxes, the total of $177,526 dollars which will be used to pay for his stepfather's home and pay his bills.
