Taking it easy.

I want to first mention, I hate the cold. DOn't get me wrong, for those of you up north, 45 degrees with a windchill making it feel 38, is warm. However, this factor puts me in a lot more pain than usual. I love how tosty my house is, so I am thankful for that. This being said, I actually broke out a pair of long pants today. I naturally didn't feel a difference on my legs (no surprise there) but I am sure I would've noticed if I'd try to go out in shorts. Or if nothing else, done damage to my legs because I didn't feel anything. However, I am thankful I only need them a couple times a year, and it doesn't stay cold in FLorida for long. Next week we're back in the 70's and 60's and a cami and shorts are fine for that. That being said, as the title implies, I am going to take it easy today. Got all the major housework done, and just waiting for my pain pill to kick in

I am with you on complaining about the cold. I have arthritis and Fibro and the cold brings on the pain. I hope you start to feeling better soon! I can't wait to get shorts, tank tops and sandals out again.

It took longer than I would have liked, but yes, it eventually did.

Glad you are keeping warm. Temperatures are all relative, depends what you are used to!

I would say I would have to agree, to a degree. While that's true for the most part, knowing your limit can be hard for someone like me. I reach a point, where I can aknowledge it's cold, but can't feel beyond that. I once did some damage to my body, because of it.

@kaylachan That is difficult, if you put yourself at risk of hypothermia or even frost-bite without realising.

That temp would be a heatwave here. I'm not surprised you broke out the long pants. 45 with a wind chill of 38 is not shorts and cami weather.

I only did it to make my husband happy. Moving in the wheelchair with those temps, could've done damage to my legs. I honestly didn't feel the difference without them on (I took them off when I got home).

I know how you feel about dealing with cold weather since the weather should warm up starting on Sunday morning.
