Brunch time

It's 10am in Indonesia. But i forgot my breakfast so i ordered my brunch,nasi padang. Do you guys know nasi padang?it's one of the most favorite Indonesian food. It's a rice with cassava leaves and beef rendang or chicken opor and sambal or chilli paste. It's so tasty but quite cheap,you will easily find nasi padang restaurant here. I ordered an ice tea too,they complete each other.
Just 20.000 IDR or 1.40 USD we get a full plate of nasi padang and big cup ice tea:)

Ya i think it's because we use so many spices for food..it might be rare in other country. And it makes the taste are quite different?

It came with rice and cooked vegetables ( boiled or saute?) Then you can pick the side dish like rendang beef,chicken or omelette,the most important is the sambal or chilli paste. Usually we eat nasi padang for lunch because the portion are so full.

Hello Welcome to myLot. I am from the Philippines and we have a dialect here to which is called Kapampangan and in Kapampangan Nasi means rice too .
