A baby's heartbeat

We decided to start a family in the beginning of last year. We tried and tried for months but nothing happened. And then towards the end of July, we were happy to find we were expecting. However, the baby had no heartbeat in our first scan. So the gynac suggested to wait 1 week and scan again. I had read somewhere that small amount of chocolate during the first trimester helps blood flow to the baby's heart. So I ate one small piece of chocolate everyday and prayed and prayed for the baby to miraculously have a heartbeat by next scan. But no, nothing changed by the end of the week. Neither the heartbeat came, nor the size of the baby increased. So the doctor told us to terminate the pregnancy. I had to take pills, which would bleed out the baby. That was one hell of a painful process. And after that I had a 2 inch diameter embryo in my hand. I made my heart hard and disposed it off. When there was no heartbeat, there was no life or soul to the baby. I'm an emotionally strong person. So I cried when alone and showed a brave front to people around me. And quickly became busy with life in general and did not dwell upon it. Now, 3 months have passed since my procedure and we are supposed to start trying again. Doctors say next time everything will be fine. I'm just hoping for what's best for me. Has anyone experienced any such thing? And what happened next? If you have any success stories to share, please do... I could use some positivity right now.

Everything happened for a good reason. Since the baby has no heart beat, there is no life for the baby. As a mother I understood the pain. My brother-in-laws daughter in law had the same problem. She cried on watching the baby (the same way you did) for long time.3 months passed now they can try for another chance according to their doctor. Wishing good luck next time, follow doctor's advise strictly, eat healthy too.

We also tried for about six months with no success. But in 6/6/2022, I found out that I was pregnant. The first time the heartbeat was negative. But I didn't really put any thought into it I thought it was normal. Thankfully the heartbeat was very clear the next visit. There is always hope where there is life. So never give up. Have faith and keep trying.
