Finally!

It has happened. For the first time in two years, I have travelled further than just up and down the stairs. I was beginning to think that MrsJ was using me as a hostage for some nefarious plan of hers. Yesterday, I got to travel. Yesterday, I got to dangle my toes in some cool, fresh mountain water. Yesterday I got to enjoy the view. Today, MrsJ has had to put in extra time at work to make up for being irresponsible yesterday. That means my play area is once again reduced to up and down the stairs. Oh well, maybe I won’t have to wait quite as long for another day of outdoor adventure. --Emmett

That's great you finally got some fresh air today. And good that you didn't get forgotten about and left by the cool mountain stream. I hope you get another outing soon. Maybe if Mrs J worked harder when she is at home, she could take you out more often!

No ma'am, I just think that MrsJ's point of view is a little skewed. I want to make sure that MyLot has a balanced view of her life. Now that you mention it, though, I think I would make an awesome protagonist for a children's book .
