The Weekend is here. / myLot

Hello everyone, Well, my workday has ended, and the weekend started but now that means my final packing is about to start. Just getting a little after work food and then start to pack up the last of the things for the move tomorrow morning. The internet company assures me that my internet will but up and running tomorrow. Not sure I really believe them or not, but I guess we will see tomorrow. If it is I will let you all know in the evening how the move went. Hoping it goes well with no issues, but I have moved enough times to know there usually is something. Hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Hope the move goes smoothly. I have just accepted the fact that unexpected surprises always pop up during moves, so I have just learned to go with the flow. Five years ago, when I sold my previous house and moved into my current one, I decided to use my truck to move everything instead of just renting a U-haul or moving truck. Bad decision, as it rained the entire week I moved. I tried to cover my stuff in the back of my truck the best I could, but much of the stuff ended up getting wet. Thankfully, it was during the winter and everything dried out quickly, but if that had happened in the spring or fall, I probably would have experienced mold or mildew issues due to heat and humidity. I dodged a bullet on that one.

Yeah, this was a 70 mile move so I was not going to make more than one trip. It did go pretty smooth so I was happy about that.

@moffittjc well it's about the same distance from work. I'm to the west of work now instead of the east
