So many foods are too expensive!

The photo here was used by me when I wrote complaining about the outrageous price of apples in a certain store. Now we see things are higher everywhere. Not just food, but of course fuel and anything else you need on a regular basis. For some of us it is not a big issue. But for others, it is. Many churches and private groups are offering food for those needing help. For older readers, calling Senior Services in your area might get you help you need. Even if they can't help, they can usually tell you who can.

I am happy ordering my groceries once a month from Aldi they still have good prices like a carton of eggs below a buck and I always get two then, Their bread is also at a good price but have not checked out the fruit, Making my order tomorrow and will see what I can get,

We try mainly for fresh and do have nearby farms. But the store prices-wow! How can a family survive. Back to good old PB & J!

Oil price hike makes everything else expensive. For poor countries like us, the poor people are even suffering more than ever before.

Yes and hopefully help is on the way. There are several groups here shipping supplies, but I don't know to where.

It's quickly becoming a problem for many Americans. And our government doesn't care at all.

The costs of so many things is so high right now it’s terrible. I am thankful my husband has a great job and we don’t have to worry about how we will make ends meet.

Often an insurance plan comes packed with many savings including healthy food cards, mine offers $50 a month towards groceries

prices are terrible, we are eating a lot more beans these days. the meat I do buy is in casseroles and stirfrys. I think it will be that way for awhile too. I do not see any relief in sight.

Prices are going up here too and there seems to be no end to the rise of fuel prices.

Very good advice. I am going to have to grow some food this summer, for sure. My sister lives in a Senior apartment. They get food from commodities plus and special grant or program in their area. She, and some of her friends do not like or cannot use some of the foods, though. I take the foods and either share them with others or store them safely until I can use them.
