Meals - 3/12/22

Did you set your clocks ahead? Did you "spring forward"? I wish they would keep DST (Daylight Savings Time) all year around.
We only got about an inch of s**w which was nice. It should start melting tomorrow. Today it's bitterly cold. It's 9 am and 9 degrees Fahrenheit. What's your weather like?
Breakfast - White cheddar rice cakes
Lunch - Bean soup (mine didn't have ham in it)
Dessert/Snack - Banana nut muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - no dinner
What did you have to eat yesterday?

We don't have DST here. I think in my entire life our country tried it only twice and realized how useless it was. We never tried it again.

@LindaOHio It's never useful for us to have DST and people here found it annoying. I couldn't even remember the last time we had it. I was probably in elementary school then.

They may vote to leave it at DST so we get an extra hour of daylight in the evening.

Those beans look so good. We had just a light dusting of snow yesterday, but today is sunny. Not sure what the temp is, but sure glad it's not 9 degrees!

sounds like you are not eating enough. Is it by choice or are you just not getting enough delivered? That bean soup looks wonderful. Just like I used to make. Did you choose not to have meat in yours?

I gain weight so easily since I can't get around. If I had 3 square meals a day, I would be even heavier than I already am. The soup is a canned soup....no meat in it.

One clock I left as is so now it is correct again and my laptop of course set itself, The laptop always helps me know exactly what time it is, I had a thin crust pepperoni frozen pizza,

I was trying to wake hubby up Sunday. Didn't take long but he was pissed off that I woke him up on his day off. It was a bit after 10:30 am. That's not an early wake-up. He had at least 8 hours of sleep. And I usually try and wake him up around that time. I am hungry and wanna eat. By the time he gets out of bed, does his toilet business, and comes downstairs to the kitchen close to an hour passes.

I would prefer that they leave it at DST and have an extra hour of daylight in the evening. There is a bill in Congress (I think) to do just that.
