It is still possible that President Failure, AKA Donny Trump, and all his criminal associates (Including his family) won't be convicted of at least some of their many crimes and end up dying in prison. Many people, including me, think that's a very dangerous and foolish path because it will just embolden and strengthen the next Failure (Who could be Trump again because the Republicans are very good at Voter Suppression while at the same time giving their base multiple reasons to stay energized and the Democrats are very good at giving their base no reason to get out and vote) and things will be even worse. Perhaps, for the rest of forever. But is that an actual possibility? In the short-term, sure. In fact, it's nearly guaranteed...Doubly so if Trump 2024 comes to fruition. But what about the long-term? This is the part I have to keep reminding myself of because I tend to forget it so easily: The future is going to be fine ((If we don't self-extinct ourselves via Global Warming or other means but that's another issue for another day)). The near future might very well be very horrible for everyone involved but beyond that, sanity will reign. There's a very good chance I won't live long enough to see it but it will happen. If you, too, have doubts about the far future, try doing what I do. Look at signs, such as the one linked below. Consider how unlikely these things are (There are many of them and new ones pop up every day) and yet how inevitable they are at the same time. History is going in the right direction...Slowly, because it has so many lead weights tied around its' neck but it is too big to completely stop. If we were able to make good political decisions, we could have the good future we want right now but since we can't, at least so far...So much so that the nightmare of Trump 2024 is a real possibility rather than an unthinkable travesty...We'll just have to wait and be happy with the tiny, unlikely advancements we keep getting. ************** GOP governors veto anti-trans sports bans in Indiana and Utah By Devan Cole and Jenn Selva, CNN Updated 9:31 PM EDT, Tue March 22, 2022
The governors of Indiana and Utah vetoed anti-trans sports bans in their states this week, bucking GOP lawmakers in rare moments of public disapproval of the controversial measures by Republican state leaders.

I read something the other day that pretty much will solve our problems. According to the constitution, a president can’t serve more than two terms. Therefore, since Donny “won” the 2020 election, he can’t run again.

Thank you. I don’t want the job. I can barely handle hole 14 on one of our Putt Putt courses, so international problems aren’t for me. I would suggest voting, instead, for Gertrude and Heathcliff. Politics is for the birds, so vote for two of ‘em! (For you youngins, Gertrude and Heathcliff were seagull characters Red Skeleton did on his show.)

@FourWalls Do you think they'd do better than Clem Kadiddlehopper and Freddie the Freeloader?
