What Do I Need To Do?

I order a lot from Amazon, but have never had anything shipped to another address and to another state. So before I make a mess of things I thought I would just ask mylot, what and how I should go about this. I received a package from Amazon, and it was in my mailbox Now, UPS deliveres to my house and not the mailbox. Last week Fed X delivered a lawnmower to the neighbors house. Good thing she was honest.

Doubble check the address you're having the object shipped to before you hit checkout. If you have more than one address on file, you're going to have one marked as default. So make sure you are using the right address at checkout. In your cart, before you hit confirm, you have the option to change literally everything.

@popciclecold Not a problem. I used to have a lot of addresses under my account. Now I'm just down to one.

I think you can specify a different address for shipping. I've never done that but I remember there is a space for billing address and another space for shipping address, so you can specify if it's one address for billing and shipping, or different.

We here in my home do a lot of shopping with Amazon. When it comes to shipping to another address, I personally would speak with someone from customer service. They will either walk you through it or will do it for you. Either way, they are with you. Make sure you write down the item number of the product and any confirmation numbers you might get from Amazon. Not saying you will, just in case. Also, inform the person whose address you are sending this to look out for a delivery from Amazon. Normally Amazon is great on their delivery dates. This way you can tell the person at the address to be looking out for the package. Amazon also provides you with a tracking number. Hope this helps.

Wow..a lawnmower even. Do you mean you are buying something to ship to another state? In your account just go to 'your addresses' and put in whatever address you are shipping to. If you are saying your package went to the wrong address just call Amazon or get on chat. Amazon's customer service phone number is 1-888-280-4331, and that number is live 24 hours a day, A rep can walk you through it.

I don't know what the problem is. Amazon will certainly be able to ship something to your address wherever you live.
