I´m in a hurry.

Yesterday there was a note from the doctor. They are doing maintenance to the lifts, so please come earlier and use the stairs SAY WHAT!!! I don´t live in the second floor of my own house because of the stairs. And here I have to climb more. I will now go to the shower and think this over while the water runs. If I still can´t decide, I´ll just call them and say sorry, dears, I am old. There will be a big holiday starting on Friday. Why didn´t they fix the lifts then? This is a huge rant, my friends

Oh goodness, they cannot ask to you to take the stairs, what if a patient cannot walk? They could do the maintenance to one lift at a time.

I just went to a new specialist this afternoon and fortunately, they had an elevator.

I was wondering the same thing about a patient that can't walk. Seems crazy that they have to tell patients to use the stairs

I'm in the same boat as you with doing stairs Hope you can manage them okay if you decide to go Certainly is a huge inconvenience not to have the lift operating

I decided to go early as it was in the 3rd floor. But the lifts had been fixed and the doctor saw me earlier.

If they scheduled the lifts to be fixed during the holiday, they'd have to pay extra because of making the people work on a holiday. (In the US, that means paying them 2 1/2 times as much money as they'd have to pay if the worker did that same job on a regular work day.)

I thought so too. But as the doctor was near Dixie´s I thought I could go and see her. But everything went fine. The lift was working, the doctor wasn´t busy when I arrived so I did not have to wait.

I could not do a large set of stairs. I would have to tell them to reschedule. Good luck.

I didn´t and found out there that the lifts were fine. So I arrived too early, the doctor saw me early and I went out for lunch to Dixie´s.
