The Robin

Gotta confess I'm not particularly well today, but it's fine. I'll be fine. This poem came to me, and oddly it cheered me up just a little. Maybe it was because I needed to write something. Who knows? Do you write poetry? Can I please see them? Set me apart That I may deliver My part in this happiness We've been given Time again and again. To think there is so much sadness Will it never end? Places are burning Children are suffering Parents are asking, "What shall we do?" Each day it gets harder and harder To go through. Yet, nearly every morning the Robin sings his beautiful song Calling all who hear him to sing along. So it is that one little bird whosever so proud will lift our hearts and turn our mood around.

Well done. I see robins year round here and they sing a nice song.
