kids in bootcamp and parents

Hi, so when I was a kid I used to watch these talk show where parents would take their teens to who were disrespectful and rebel to them. The show will bring sergeants out and take them to boot camp. I used to be a brat to my parents as well and my dad had a number of a sergeant after I was being rude to them. Never hurt them or tried to just a mean sounding yelling at them. My parents never got a long, my grandma just stopped my dad from leaving my mom as I heard. I know this is the reason why I acted like this. So I threw away the number but I wondered. Since this happened one Saturday. My dad just followed the basic rule of a Christian religion. That Saturday he allowed my mom go somewhere real quick but to come home as part as the religion rule. Supposedly she took a long time and he scolded at her. He was drinking, in fact its against their rule especially more on the sabbath. So because of it, he went and pulled my moms hair hard. I wondered, imagined I recorded this and ended up my dad calling the sergeants to yell at me like in the show to straightened me up. If I showed this video if I had recorded it to them, what will it end up happening? Will they tell me "it doesn't matter, you don't misbehave with your parents" or will they take another action? Thanks

Growing up in a family where parents have abusive relationship can be really tough. It's a lot of emotional toll and might result into behaviour problems in the children. It's especially more tough for teenagers. Being a teen is as such tough and these kind of things make it even worse. Sorry about all that you had to go through.

Thanks for the reply and for that feelings towards my situation. I just wondered what would have happened to my parents if they found out,

@fearjp Well, we can only anticipate the reaction now and not sure how actually it would have happened. Maybe they would have made their relationship better or maybe it would have made it worse. I hope that despite the differences that your mom and had with each other, they both loved you. I have seen cases where parents are in abusive relationship but they both love their children. I hope you are in a good situation now. Where are your parents now??
