I got some Claritin for my allergies the other day, and found out it didn't work for me. I was given generic Sudafed by the doctor originally, so I figured I'd go to the grocery store and get some of that. I called the grocery store pharmacy to make sure that they had it, and asked for the wrong one first (Sudafed), then had to call back after I had started to leave and ask if they actually had the one I needed (Sudafed). They did, so I hurried over and got it ! Since I was at the grocery store, I picked up some Oat Milk and cheese, which I was out of. So so so glad to have the right medicine now! Won't take it until tonight, since I already have Claritin in me, but at least I have it !

I have Claritin in me today, too. Haven't sneezed all day.

@xstitcher I'd been taking Benedryl but remembered I had some Claritin so took that today for a change.

I hope it works for your allergies. I’ve tried everything and gave up when nothing helped.

Happy to hear you got it. That's great. I just told Walgreens I needed one of my meds, and I have a good week or so before I need it.

I am allergic to so many things my doctors lost count. My seasonal allergies are the worst at the beginnings of spring and fall. In the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions, I take an over-the-counter allergy pill for about a month. Down south, I end up in the ER, regardless of the season, so doctors in Florida told me (for the sake of my health) to get out and stay out. So, I happily moved back up north. Some can’t or won’t that. But sometimes moving away from allergens is best. Thankfully, I already knew places where my allergies were milder, I could take my job with me, and my boyfriend and son were willing to quit their jobs to get me back to some place safe. Moving got me my health back, so I tell my story to other allergy sufferers to let them know there is an option other than medicating and staying miserable.
