Kids standard testing week 1!

Both of my oldest two kids had there SOL (standardized testing the school takes 3rd grade and up). This week was reading on has theirs on Wednesday and the the other yesterday. Both kids passed there reading portion of the SOL’s.
My middle ones 4th grade class for to have a treat today for there hard work and knocking it out of the ball park. Everyone is the kids in there class passes the SOL.
5th graded came home yesterday saying she passed hers as well which I gave her a high 5 for. For my kids that is a big deal because testing is hard on them but I also remind it doesn’t in the end as long as you did your best.
They each have 2 more SOL’s to take.

Not class work it’s not a grade for there class itself it’s a grade for the school to see how well the teachers are at teacher or how good kids are at spitting backflip remembered information it doesn’t show if they actually learned it or not.

@Kosgey teacher assessment are done by the principal this is a county thing it’s to see which schools get more money
