May 26, 2022, at exactly 9 AM before logging off from work, my PC shuts down. I thought there was an issue with the computer. Even the blower died on us. The only time I learned there was a power Interruption. Right after the shut down, my body started sweating like crazy. I decided to go to the mall since we don't have generator at home. I could not sleep sweating. I went to the mall with my nephew. Roamed around and ate pasta. I asked him if we can go to the Cyberzone so I can look for a powerbank for my phone to charge and scan the store shelves for the latest smartphones, didn't buy any. After two hours, we headed back home. Still no power. We waited another 1 hour before it came back before 5 PM. Going to the mall was unplanned. But because of the power Interruption, it happened for the first time that I was with my nephew after 2 years.

. You were so lucky to get to spend time with your nephew. Maybe the two of you can spend more time together.

I hope you both enjoyed yourselves while you wandered around in the mall. At least you had somewhere you could go and still be out of the terrible heat.

@jobelbojel Government officials always tell older people who can't afford air conditioning to go to shopping centers or Walmart when it gets really hot. The stores always have their air conditioners running, so the old people can stay cool there.

I remember once, when it was really hot, we took the kids to the mall so we'd all be cooler.

It's good that you had somewhere to go to escape the heat. I'm glad you got to see your nephew.

At least my nephew experienced being in the mall. And he said he's freezing.

That's too much. 8 hour of power outage. Ours is worse. It's a 12-hour brownout. It started 6am and ger back at 6pm.
