Santa Cruz, California is in Santa Cruz county and is south of Santa Clara County. It is near the Pacific Ocean and the beaches face it. There are many things to see there, like Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Walton Lighthouse,and the wharf. The wharf has many restaurants, stores and some bait shops. The chocolate chip cookies are from a restaurant there. They are big and quite good. The wharf is a popular tourist attraction.

Kind of like a day vacation. I take the Highway 17 Express from San Jose and get there in around an hour.

@Aquitaine24 For sure we went to the boardwalk and the wharf. We visited the downtown and not much more, we only stayed a short time.
