You found out that they betrayed you.
Time goes by, They contact you because they need your help DESPERATELY!
Would you be there for them? Would you help them?

I would look into the type of help they are claiming to need and see if it's even in my capability. I would take the betrayal into account, too and approach the decision with a healthy batch of skiptisim.

Helping isn't bad whether you know the person or not. When he's your bestie but had betrayed you that's a difficult situation. It's a case to case situation. Most people won't. His victim will even curse him for it.

I don't know. It would depend on the depth of the betrayal and what they were asking me to do.

Betrayal is a serious matter. If they ask for help, I would certainly take into account the bad experience and see what kind of help they need and decide.
