Thanks to the actions of a male lifeguard that was on duty at Miramar Beach on Monday, a man and his dog that were swimming in the Gulf Of Mexico where a concerned beachgoer informed a lifeguard who ready to call it a day since his time to leave was 7 o'clock in the sunset time, answered the call to rescue the man and his dog who had a hard time getting back to shore after being stuck in the second bar both the dog and the man who was attempting to rescue the dog who wandered into the water. The dog was returned by the owner of the dog by the man who rescued the dog in the ocean after the lifeguard after the medical personnel determined that both the dog and the rescuer did not need any medical attention.

@RubyHawk I am sure that both the dog and the man who was rescued learned their lesson to stay close to the shore next time.

@Deepizzaguy Maybe they’ll be more careful next time.

Thank goodness for lifeguards. Each summer you always hear of some casualties when people go for evening swims when they are off duty.

Lifeguards like firefighters do not get enough love from the media.

I share the same feelings that you have since it is better to share a happy ending on this post.

The savior is the unknown beachgoer. Blessed is he.

I am sure glad they got rescued but should not have been out there swimming so late it could have ended badly if the lifeguard had gone home

That is true since the authorities are telling swimmers to stay close to the shore when it is getting close to getting dark.

I agree with you since it is better to share a good story than a tragic story from a beach.
