My daughter's friend was lucky. She won a lucky draw of US$350. She picked up my daughter to claim the lucky draw. As my daughter and her friend are good friends, she bought my daughter some orange and grapes. She brought the fruits to be given to us as her parents. Have you ever won the lucky draw? We do not have the Lucky Draw here. But we do have multiple lotteries and I like to play them a lot even though I hardly ever win anything worthwhile. I especially like the Powerball and MegaMillions lotteries which are multi-state lotteries often worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Not bad for only a $2 ticket price.

@yanzalong It would naive of me to believe, based on the odds, I ever will win. But I still play. It is fun to dream, and of course you can't win at all if you don't have a ticket in your hand.

I've never won the lottery here but it would be hard to do because I almost never buy any tickets.

I see. If you buy something in Supermarket, they usually give you card to be filled with your data, then you put it back to the large box there. They will spin the cards and choose one or two as winners.
