Do you live with your parents?

Living with parents is a real challenge. I have a problem and I can't live by myself. I have severe anxiety and depression. But living with my parents makes me feel very anxious. My mom offends me and she doesn't want to do anything for me or my father. She had a fight with her boss and she risks losing her job. I can't believe that she plays with fire. I am trying so hard to be independent, but this anxiety is severe. Do you live with your parents? I am doing all I can to feel better. I am doing therapy and I take meds. I am trying several exercises. I am not happy at all and these panic attacks don't disappear. And I don't receive support from my parents at all. All they know is to offend and criticize. My mom takes all my money. I borrow her money and she gives money back to me. After a while she takes again all my money. I can't enjoy my own money. She spends a lot.

My parents passed away years ago. My daughter lives with me. She has anxiety problems and panic attacks. She earns money online and helps me pay the basic bills for the house. (Nobody gets to live for free.) Pretty gives me money for gas in our car every month and she pays the internet bill. I pay everything else. She's in therapy, like you and takes meds for anxiety, too.

I am earning a few dollars each month. I can't pay bills with this amount of money. I don't have a normal job. I would pay if I would have a normal job. Does therapy help her? Or do meds help her?

@dya80dya Pretty doesn't have a "normal" job, either. She finds different things online to earn money. She spends just as much time doing them as someone else would at a "normal" job each week so she has money and can pay some of the bills. (There are writing sites online that pay for articles written to their specifications. There are sites that pay you to answer surveys and there are sites that pay for other small jobs.) The meds have never seemed to help, but she just started therapy so we're hoping that will help her, in time.

I don't live with my parents. I stopped taking monetary help from them once I started doing an offline regular job after I finished my studies. I understand the situation you're in. You need to find a stable job for yourself so that you may earn and can live independently or maybe be able to help your parents financially otherwise @daddyevil said, nothing comes for free.

I pay for my things. I don't have money to pay bills, but I am paying for my phone or other objects. I never received anything for free except for food and clothes from my parents. But I don't have even clothes, I have many problems. Don't imagine that I receive everything for free. I work a lot.

I'm sorry to hear that you're in this situation. It can't be easy. I don't live with my parents. Haven't lived with them since university. I live with my husband and our kids.

I think I will never heal if I am offended daily.

So very sorry that you have to endure this. Can't you live with a friend instead? Also, you would need to change your lifestyle and behaviour. You have got to stay mentally and emotionally strong and socialize often.

When I was studying in college and got a wife, we lived with our parent's house. When I finished my schooling and found a job, we left them and lived in a rented boarding house. Living with my own family, I did support my old parents until they passed away. Inheriting their house, we gave up the boarding house and lived there.

Thank you. Being offended almost daily stops my healing. I am a sensitive person.

I don't live with my father anymore. I got separated from the family when I was 18 because of work. Since then, I lived alone. But visit them still. Now, I am living with my brother and sister.

I do live with my parents. And I still remember the day. When I was kid. And I am getting Christmas money from relatives. And they say, Imma take care of it. And when I ask them where is it. They say. You already poop it.. Like bruh. Now I'm just laughing remembering that But when I'm a kid. I was really mad
