Life Is Such A Drag

I am sorry to post the above but I am sure there are others who feel the same way? On Facebook no-one takes any notice of me (which is why I hate it…should be called Fakebook as many people on there are so shallow it’s not funny) so I am gauging the mood here instead.
So, how is everyone? How are your finances? Are you coping with the Cost Of Living Crisis? Here in the UK I blame a combination of COVID (as the flawed furlough scheme has made people lazy, therefore nowt gets done), us leaving the EU and the war in Ukraine. It’s all bloody depressing if you ask me and I cannot wait until ‘my time comes.’
I envy my Dad because he died before all this sh!t started. If he were still around he would NOT be happy at how this country has turned out. Is it worse or better where you live?

Life has its ups and downs and we have to struggle through it. Our ancestors saw world wars and epidemics too. We are facing this pandemic and inflation.
I like Facebook as I can keep in contact with my school and college friends and some teachers who are far away from me.

Yes, I was feeling a bit sorry for myself that day and had to 'rant.' I still don't like Fakebook though lol. Lamps the cat is having her 'op' done on Tuesday so that should be fun! She is upstairs at the moment cooling down as it's unseasonably hot right now. I only go out if I have to! I must admit, I'm a bit like you 'not taking any notice' as I stopped watching mainstream news a long time ago. Mind you, the internet isn't much better! Lovely to hear from you.x
