My body rejects Monday

July 25, 2022 4:50am CST
So I’ve been a full-time freelancer now for more than a year and even before that I never worked a Monday-Friday job. I always had my part time teaching job and did freelance on the side. But I’ve always , always struggled with Monday. Even when I get enough sleep and wake up happy and rested, on Monday mornings I’m always dragging and I’m grumpy throughout the day. I guess it’s coming from the school days. Even when it is my day off and I plan and have a super fun day-the energy is just not there. Anyone else struggling with Monday?

Monday's have always been day-offs for me, when I overslept, maybe due to hang-over.

I used to hate Monday. Now I am free from scaring Monday.

I was a teacher (I'm retired now). I didn't matter to me if it was Monday or any other day. School starts at 7.35 in our town! I hated mornings in general. In the first lesson, I was as tired as the pupils. The difference was that I had to pretend to be awake.
