I Had a Great Day on My Birthday Yesterday

First, a grat big thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday. I had a wonderful day. My first stop was to go to Dunkin Donuts to get my free any-size coffee. Then since my daughter had sent me a Dunkin Donuts gift card for my birthday, I also had sourdough toasted bread with Avacado and roasted tomatoes. It was delicious. Then I headed to my next stop...which was really an errand that I had forgotten about but that's another story for another post. I then went to: Ollie's Bargain Outlet to stock up on my favorite herbal tea 3 thrift stores Dollar Tree Then I went home to change and my husband took me out to dinner at Provino's Italian restaurant. I don't know if you have a Provino's near you, but if you go there on your birthday, your meal is free. So I had a salad, garlic bread, and ziti with vegetables in spaghetti sauce. For dessert, we split a piece of Lemoncello cake which was light and sweet and the perfect ending to a wonderful birthday dinner. My husband had to run to Publix to get some coffee so I had him drop me off at Michael's craft store which was in the same plaza. And I treated myself to a new drawing notebook and some Pigma pens to use in my creative doodling. Oh, and guess what I got for my birthday: 5 Dunkin Donuts gift cards. My family certainly knows what I like! All in all it was a very good birthday!

@arunima25 You do? That's great. I don't like Zentangle...too many rules and words. That's why I just prefer to call it creative doodling so I can create what I want and not have to name every design or doodle.

@xFiacre You know, you may be right. They never even asked to see my license to prove it was my birthday. They did last year, but I went with my friend last October and they didn't ask her either.

@Beestring Oh I definitely did. I learned a long time ago that it is up t me to create a good birthday for myself. Over the years on the birthdays I never did anything special I was always so disappointed by the time my birthday was over.

@Ronrybs No, I didn't have any donuts...I got coffee at Dunkin Donuts. I had a scare with my heart a few weeks back and donuts are definitely NOT heart healthy! So I didn't indulge.
