I have an appointment for the exam of my ears elsewhere. It is a very elegant hospital and my health insurance won´t pay for it. As the French say "tant pis". I need it and I´ll have it. My late husband used to say that a live soldier can fight another battle.
The exam is called "a procedure". That means also that it is more invasive and more expensive. Again, tant pis.
I want to be sure that I can be as good as possible during my vacations.
That´s why I also sent a letter to my dermatologist to ask for an appointment. I told her that I would go out of the country in August (not in September) and that if she could not see me, who could she recommend.
If I can´t pay for the tickets in cash, I´ll pay for them in 3 or 6 installments.
Little by little, everything is working. See you. I´ll go and check my lunch now.

@DaddyEvil The dermatologist sent me an email, I sent another one the the contact. And she hasn´t answered but it is weekend. If she does not answer tomorrow, I´ll schedule an appointment with the other doctor.

@marguicha I sleep during the daytime so if I'm on myLot then, it means the diuretic woke me up for a bit. (My eyes swelled shut again. They really aren't open now but I can read and see well enough to type for a while.)

I won´t. Although I will not go if the doctor says that I shouldn´t, I know that I can borrow money and pay later or use my credit card. I´ll see when I get to it. I don´t really have money problems but I am short of cash.

A holiday out is always expensive. Now I have a problem of cash flow as I did not count that i´d spend so much in doctors. But I´m willing to pay for a holiday. I know that I can save little by little.

@Nakitakona I have lent most of my money to my daughters but I know that they can´t pay me now. I would have preferred that the procedure could have been done in the hospital where my health insurance pay in part. But they had all the hours taken until October and I want to go to Aruba knowing that I have nothing terrible.

I hope that you enjoy your vacation. I currently have terrible insurance and often don't even use it because they give a big discount if I self-pay. After my emergency overnight stay in the hospital last week though, I am going to look into getting better insurance.

My insurance covers a lot if I use a certain hospital and doctors and not others. In this case, they could have the procedure done in october. I want to have it before I go to my holidays so I will have to pay a lot. And so be it. Health is before everything.
