Well, I had my eye doctor appointment yesterday and got the Field of Vision test over with. I don't have to take it for another year. We went to Longhorn Steakhouse after the appointment and had a good meal. A big surprise...the people that are supposed to install the standby generator FINALLY called. We have been waiting since October to get this done! They will probably come tomorrow.
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Longhorn Steakhouse - Appetizer, stuffed mushrooms - Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, Strawberry salad, bread
Dessert/Snack - Brownie and decaf coffee
Dinner - None

@LadyDuck He's complained just about every time we've eaten there. I tell him to get something besides steak; but he loves his steak.

I think between Red Lobster and Longhorn they get a lot of your money. lol. But hey, I am not complaining—it's good food.
On Tuesday we figured it was a good idea to just have leftovers. We had some of the Chinese food left, some stuff we took home from the Blue Parrot, and of course some of that beef and potato salad left. So we all just grabbed what we wanted and sort of hodgepodged it.

@LindaOHio That's pretty remarkable when you think about it. Eating out is not cheap. Glad to be a contributor of some of that food.

Yesterday was the last day for our summer interns, so we had a catered lunch. Caesar salad, lasagna, breadsticks, and fruit and cake for dessert. Yum!

Speaking of eye tests here's a funny joke: The eye doctor asked a guy if he ever had his eyes "checked." His answer, no they've always been 'brown." I know what a "cornea" joke! Anyway, glad you passed your eye test with flying colors.
Have the prices on food increased at Longhorn Steak House along with most things these days?

It sounds like you had a good day :) All we had for dinner last night was popcorn chicken. When my husband got home from work, we went to see a friend who bought a house right down the road from us. We're all really excited to say the least lol.

@LindaOHio This was salty and not so great but it satisfied the hunger lol. We're happy. We're trying to get our little station noticed just a bit again and it will be nice to have someone that cares with us now.
