hi all this is my first post on myLot, anyone can to be friends.it to practice my english grammar. i'm from indonesia now i live in java island. everyday i use indonesian language,some time english when i use myphone so i learn it. I apologize if the grammar is still not good because i'm still learning to learn english grammar

@dodostrez You should edit this post too to make it more descriptive. You can write your hobbies to make it elaborative and to know people to know you more.

Howdy and welcome to MyLot. Don't worry too much about the grammar as English grammar is very hard to learn. I've lived in the United States all my life and I still don't have the use of English grammar!!! My teachers in school went nuts trying to teach me, I didn't recognize a preposition from an adverb. They just had to settle for that. We kind of have to take you the way you are and accept the fact that you are learning English. Keep learning and stuffing those pearls of wisdom in your head. One day it will come in very handy for you. Who knows, you might become a famous writer that we can say we knew when you were posting responses to messages.
Follow the advice given to you by other members, don't change your direction suddenly. I admire you for working on learning English grammar by yourself. Follow the advice that is good to follow, and work on the lot.

English grammar is hard to learn? That makes me laugh! Which other languages do you know to compare English with? I taught English at secondary grammar schools in Germany. One topic is the English language as such. I always began teaching it by asking, "Why has English become the world language No 1?" Of course, this was the entrance, so-to-speak, to the topic 'The British Empire and Commonwealth'.
During the 40 years of my teaching career I only ever got the answer, "Because it's easy to learn". Besides their native language German the pupils had to learn English, then French or Latin and if they wanted to could chose a third foreign language, for example Spanish or Russian.

@BearArtistLady Other languages also have words which sound the same but are written in a different way as well as words which are written in the same way but have different meanings.
