I am the Guardian: What?!?

My youngest sibling completed the Alternative Learning System at his junior high school (ALS). This program is intended for students who did not complete the traditional high school curriculum in the Philippines, whether they attended private or public schools. I have to mention that he has turned a new leaf by returning to school. My family will continue to assist him as he completes senior high school and pursues his post-secondary goals. Returning to the main subject, I led him to the stage today as his guardian. My biological parents must be so pleased with him in heaven now. It was a sense of accomplishment for him. Do you currently serve as the family's guardian as well?

It must be hard to become a parent to your siblings, do you have any help with them?

I am like a father to him now. I cannot imagine myself being one, but it is an inevitable to deny. I just missed my parents.

I'm the youngest in the family, well taken care of by my mom, elder sister and brothers. As we grow older, we care for each other. What does the family's guardian suppose to do?

A guardian is like a responsible person who takes good care of young ones.Basically, old ones are considered guardians in the family, friends, or relatives.

I never heard about being the family's guardian, I suppose it's not in our culture.

I think it is like a foster parent in other countries.

@Shavkat Foster parents are people who officially take a child into their family for a period of time, without becoming the child's legal parents. If your family takes care of him they are his foster family You can apply to become his foster parent if you like

It is a good feeling if you could be one. For now, you just need to enjoy not being a guardian.
