Holy Cow! Anyone have as much snow as me? It's a winter wonderland, I won't be going anywhere today.

I'm in UK and we only rarely get snow. We are at the same latitude as St Petersburg and Quebec (I think), but the gulf stream (atlantic conveyor) keeps our climate milder than places in-land. We are lucky if we get a few scattered weeks of snow in a year, and then it's only usually for a couple of days at a time then the whold country goes into shock! Traffic gridlock, schools close, old folks die etc etc.
I would love to live somewhere that gets proper snow through the winter.

Well what you call proper snow has are schools closed and traffic is a mess. We have just spent the last 3 hours snow blowing the driveway. Sorry if I sound grumpy, but what back breaking work. Maybe if I can mustard up some energy I'll take a picture and post another comment for you. Have a nice weekend.

Where are you with all that snow? Send it out to me. I'm in the south western part of the USA. It is always sunny, sunny, sunny. I would love rain and snow. Stay in and stay warm.
