i have seen many people joining job in which they never had a interest but they went for it because of money or some other compulsion..this raises a very important point about whether a person should try and achieve his career objectives inspite of all pressures and constraints or should he settle for short term satisfaction..

Sorry if I am misunderstanding your question... but I think that it is important to have a job you are interested in... even the money could be great, but that satisfaction is only going to last for a short while. I think a person's career is more important.

thats what I precisely asked..we here are pursuing MBA and everyone wants to find a job..there are peer pressure and family pressure to start earning soon..so many of them end up in a company they probably wouldn't have joined otherwise..its happens in most cases..there are very few people who actually fight against all odds and do what their heart says..

Sometimes situation just forces us to earn you know.Though we might want to study more financial needs forces us into earning. And until we don't have a job its kind of a burden and we don't feel secure. I would love to have higher education but before that I would want to confirm that I am capable of getting a job. So what I would do is after my engineering I will go for a job for two year and then do MBA and then again try for a job and then again further my eductaion. This process would go on.I would continue my education with job whenever possible. There's no end to gaining knowledge!
