IIT is popular in India as well as other countries. This exam is known as world's 4th toughest examination in the world. The students who prepares for this exam have to thrive throughout 2 years of preparations. But now, indians have started to prepare students from 8th and 9th class. This exam has lots of package after passing out from IIT college, because of this most of the parents especially my society's parents are very desperate towards it. My society is known for IIT. Every year, some students selected in IIT college and some news channel like Aaj Tak comes. I couldn't crack IIT. IIT is not tough but you will have to be focused everyday. The students who prepares, if he is good, he may crack but if he is not good, he may be got depressed for couple of years or suicide. In our country suicide is common, it starts from 9th and 10th. People for money send his children to take exams like IIT without knowing their child potential or interest. What do you think on this, people should concern over this especially parents or not, if not, why?
